CEDIA 2007, Las Vegas
Stereophile's Wes Phillips visits the Edge Electronics/PBN Montana room at CEDIA 2007
and finds it "a breath of fresh air." Listening to a variety of musical
performances, Phillips notes that he loved the system's performance.
T.H.E. Show 2007, Las Vegas
StereoMojo has a nice report
on our demo at the 2007 T.H.E. show in Las Vegas. Take a peek at what a
full Edge system looks like, and think how great it would look (and
sound) in your own listening room!
T.H.E. Show 2006, Las Vegas
Enjoy the Music.com led its Thursday coverage of The Home Entertainment Show 2006 with a spotlight on our
multichannel G AV amplifier. Take a look!
In its April/May 2006 issue, The Absolute Sound's
report on Consumer Electronics Show includes many accolades for systems
featuring our products. Jim Hannon reports that our new G8m Statement
amps "were driving a new luxury speaker system, the Precision Acoustic
Labs Model 27, on extremely demanding material, with terrific control
and explosive dynamics, and without the faintest hint of clipping,
transistor brightness, or grain." Robert E. Greene pronounced the
Edge/Wisdom system as having the best bass at the show. Several writers
picked the Magico Mini system -- featuring our Signature 1.1 preamp --
as the best overall sound at the show.

Show 2005, Las Vegas
The editors of Audiophile Audition check in with their report on the
2005 T.H.E. Show. Their choice for best sound? Well, let's let them
tell you in their own words: "By far the best sound at T.H.E. Show was
from the Edge Electronics Suite. It consisted of Edge Electronics,
Shunyata cables and power conditioning and the owner’s personal
custom made speakers. This system simply played music that very closely
approximated live music sound. It was a great reprieve from either
being bored to death or assaulted by the sound of most of the systems.
It did almost everything I want a stereo system to do. Edge Electronics
stock went up even further up in my mind, when it was also used in one
of the other best sounding systems at T.H.E. Show - the Green Mountain
Audio Room."

"The Edge room sounded REALLY good with their electronics driving
the new speakers from Epiphany Audio. These are the smaller model
(the 6-6 are $8900) that was very big sounding. Fast and clean, with
amazing articulation." -- Dave and Carol Clark, Positive

"As usual, Tom Maker's Edge Electronics room had excellent
sound. He was also featuring a new line of amplifiers featuring
most of his very expensive models' sound quality at a significantly
lower price." -- Karl Lozier, Enjoy
the Music (Also check out additional
show coverage on Enjoy the Music.)
"... for me, the most surprising sound of a remarkable show
(was) the Epiphany/Edge Electronics suite at the Sane Remo.... Though
Edge was using its less expensive G8+ 200Wpc mono amps ($7995) and
G2 preamp ($3995) with the Epiphany 12-12s, the sound was remarkable
for its smoothness, neutrality, tonal richness, and dynamic life
(and for its lack of typical transistor colorations). HP has been
raving about Edge amps for some time; it has taken me a while to
come to it, but I now understand why." -- Jonathan Valin, The
Absolute Sound
"I've been a real fan of Edge electronics for many years --
my respect earned by their designing and manufacturing superb audio
electronics. I always have a great time talking and joking with
Tom Maker and Steve Norber. But it was better this year, the sonics
were better than at any CES in my memory. The new 'G' Series of
electronics were no doubt part of the reason for the increased sonic
bliss this year. The new G6 amplifier with 135 wpc (built like only
Edge can build it) is a gorgeous little piece capable of superb
sonics. Great stuff." -- Martin G. DeWulf, Bound
for Sound

"Edge Electronics Signature One 400-watt monoblock amplifiers
($31,500 per pair) were easily driving the Calix Technology model
Phoenix ($67,500) hybrid hornspeakers. This five-way loudspeaker
design has a frequency response from 20Hz up to 40kHz with 88B/W/m
sensitivity." -- Enjoy
